Service 01 · Workflow assessment

AI workflow assessment
for a clear next decision.

Before commissioning a build, decide which handoff is worth improving, what access it needs and how your team will judge the result.

When it helps

Start from the
work, not the tool.

You have a repeated task, several tools and an idea that AI could help. The important questions are still open: where does work get stuck, who owns the decision, and what would a useful result look like?

What to bring

  • A description of one recurring process and its owner
  • Representative, redacted inputs and outputs
  • The systems involved and known access constraints

Begin with redacted examples. Do not share credentials or confidential customer data through this website.

What you receive

Artifacts your team
can actually use.

The final deliverables and acceptance checks are written into the scope before work begins.

  1. 01

    Workflow map

The current steps, systems, handoffs and human decisions.

  2. 02

    Constraints & risks

Access needs, permitted operations, failure cases and questions still to resolve.

  3. 03

    Acceptance checklist

Observable checks for a proposed pilot, including how exceptions are reviewed.

  4. 04

    Recommendation

A bounded next step: pilot, narrower scope, manual improvement or no build.

Illustrative scope

What this could
look like.

For a product-content handoff, the assessment might trace approved product facts through creative review to the final asset destination. It would identify the source owner, reviewer and missing-input behavior before deciding what to connect.

This is a scoping example, not an additional client project or a promise about your systems.

Scope & next step

A clear boundary
helps everyone.

This is a decision document, not an implementation. It stands on its own whether or not you choose a pilot.

Fees, dates, deliverable ownership, tool licenses and allowed system operations are agreed before starting. Third-party costs are identified separately.

Questions about this scope

What should we bring to an AI workflow assessment?

A general description of one recurring task, its main tools and its owner. Representative redacted inputs and outputs help. Production credentials and confidential files are not needed for the first conversation.

How is an assessment different from a pilot?

An assessment produces a decision brief and identifies what remains unverified. A pilot implements and evaluates an agreed handoff in a permitted environment. You can commission an assessment on its own; a subsequent pilot is optional.

What happens if the connection is not feasible?

The recommendation can be to narrow the scope, change a manual step or stop. An unverified API or permission remains an open question in the brief; it is not presented as an available integration.

Access and ownership

Prepare the permissions and handover

Agree what the consultant can access, who operates the workflow and how access ends before expanding a pilot.

Start with the work

Tell me where the workflow gets stuck.

A short description of the task and its tools is enough to begin. We can clarify the next decision by email or an agreed call.

Prepare a project brief

No obligation. Fees and dates are agreed before paid work begins.
